Employment Opportunities
The Mental Health Lived Experience Peak Queensland (MHLEPQ) is a newly formed organisation funded by Department of Health, Queensland. MHLEPQ’s role is to provide policy advice and system advocacy for, and with, consumers of all ages of the Queensland mental health system, in particular those who are marginalised and disadvantaged. Our work is based on the core principles of equity, access, cultural safety, recovery and human rights.
MHLEPQ works in partnership with other agencies and organisations in the sector to ensure advice and activities to improve the mental health and wellbeing of consumers and the community are put forward in a collaborative manner.
Another key function of the MHLEPQ is to develop a culturally and psychologically safe environment to empower and build capacity of experienced and emerging lived experience leaders to participate in mental health system improvement initiatives.
The MHLEPQ values are Safety, Respect, Intention, Integrity, and that Outcomes Matter. At all levels of MHLEPQ we actively question out actions and behaviours to ensure alignment with these values.
On this page we will advertise employment opportunities with MHLEPQ. In the near future we expect to advertise for the following positions so watch this space:
